Energy Education Coordinator

Meet the Energy Education Coordinator

GOAL

Our Energy Education Coordinator informs residents about energy systems, rebates, incentives or bills that might occur because of their energy usage. The coordinator ensures residents understand their communities and save money, keeping their housing truly affordable.

PROCESS

Our Energy Education Coordinator offers energy-saving tips through scores of onsite workshops, social media posts and informational emails. Her work is part of a massive campaign to ensure residents know every way they can save on utility costs.

RESULTS

Thanks to our Energy Education Coordinator, our residents are wiser about energy use and conservation. This means lower utility bills, less wasted resources, better understanding of sustainability subjects and increased confidence in National CORE.

MOLLY TENENBAUM, Energy Education Coordinator

Molly Tenenbaum’s work takes her into the heart of each National CORE’s community, connecting face-to-face with residents to provide them with the care they need to understand the world of sustainability.

Molly is passionate about all forms of sustainability. She earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from the College of Saint Benedict. She wrote her undergraduate thesis about boosting municipal infrastructure to decrease the nation’s reliance on cars, researched water insecurity in the Global South and worked for the U.S. Forest Service to inform the public about protecting the forest and its resources.
